From an acclaimed music video director comes the fascinating "Paperboys." "People often ask me 'are there still paperboys,'" said director Mike Mills. "To me, this is the underlying theme of the film: how traditions stay alive and how they mutate. I wanted to see if these kids were aware that they are part of a long tradition."
Mills' is also a graphic designer known for his collaborative groundbreaking design for bands like Beck, Beastie Boys and Sonic Youth. His commercial video work includes national and international campaigns for Levis, Gap and Nike. (41 minutes, 2003)
